Resilience is a fundamental and essential ingredient for living a wholehearted life at every age.

Developing resilience is more important with each passing year. Women over fifty enter the second half of their lives worn out and depleted. We’ve spent decades raising and caring for a family, building our careers, working to achieve our goals, caring for family and friends. When things quiet down, as they often do at midlife, we suddenly realize we don’t know who we are anymore.

Developing resilience is about tuning into ourselves, body, mind and spirit.

Most importantly, developing resilience is about re-discovering, or discovering for the first time, the value and Resilienceimportance of self-care and then making it a lifelong practice.  We must re-learn what we knew instinctively as children. To remember how and when
to our body, to tune into our intuition and to settle our ongoing mental arguments. Then we will grow in self-awareness, a fundamental principle for developing resilience.

Furthermore, our body tells us exactly what we need to do to take care of it. Likewise, intuition inspires and guides us on the path of discovery and an ever-expanding life. A personal connection to Spirit, whatever we perceive it to be grounds, ignites and inspires us. Last, the mind assists us in our choices as we navigate our options.

Change begins on the inside.

When we tune in and listen carefully to our body, mind and spirit we will see our way forward and our actions will be in alignment with our right life. This workshop will give you 5 essential tools and practices for fostering a deeper connection to all three. Then, as you practice each step, you will continue to gain clarity and freedom from what is keeping you stuck now.

PRACTICE BUILDS RESILIENCE

Coming back to these practices again and again builds increasing resilience and adaptability. Each time we connect with our true self, we grow stronger and clearer. At times it is easy to forget. After all, challenging historical patterns and life circumstances takes effort. However, the fundamental practices you will learn and try out in this workshop will help you find your way back to center again and again. Each time you do, you will grow stronger and the next set back will just a little bit easier to navigate. This is resilience.
